The FBI Louisville Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBILCAAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The mission of the FBILCAAA is to support and serve as the FBI’s private sector community ambassadors by fostering a greater understanding of the role of Federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education.

Each member of FBILCAAA is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy, an engaging six-to-eight-week program that gives business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. Candidates are nominated by FBI employees, former Citizens Academy graduates, and community leaders. Participants are selected by the special agent in charge of the local FBI field office.
